ProDigitalTips

Editorial Policy

This page explains how ProDigitalTips guides are made, so you can decide how much to trust them.

How we choose topics

We write about problems people actually search for help with, such as specific Windows error codes or Outlook issues. We group similar questions together and answer them in one complete guide rather than many thin pages.

How guides are written

  • Every guide starts from the exact error message or symptom a reader sees.
  • Fixes are ordered from the safest and quickest to the more involved. Steps that change system settings come later and carry a warning.
  • Each guide says which versions of Windows or the app it applies to.
  • Menu paths, settings names and commands are written exactly as they appear on screen.
  • We never recommend paid “PC fixer” tools, cracked software, or turning security features off permanently.

Our use of AI

We use AI tools to help research topics, draft guides and create some illustrations. Every guide is checked against official documentation (mainly Microsoft’s) and our editorial checklist before it is published. We do not claim personal hands-on testing unless it actually happened, and we do not invent statistics, quotes or reviews.

Images

Images are stock photos, simple diagrams or AI-generated illustrations. We don’t present an image as a real screenshot unless it is one.

Updates and corrections

Windows and Office change often. We review guides when Microsoft changes how something works, and the “Updated” date at the top of each guide shows when it was last changed. If you spot a mistake, please tell us through our contact page and we’ll correct it.

Independence

We aren’t affiliated with Microsoft or any other software company. Product names are used only to describe what a guide is about.
